[u][b]Staff Knowledge[/b][/u]  [b]Have you previously received any sort of punishments on our past/current server, if so, what were they for?: [/b]No.  [b]What makes you different from the other applicants?: [/b]I believe I should be chosen over other applicants because I am a unique individual in a position to help create positive change throughout the server. I can bring a certain skill set to the staff team which can effectively ensure that the server operates smoothly and that situations regarding rulebreakers or disputes between players can be handled in the most efficient way without interfering with the quality of roleplay which takes place on Andromeda. Since joining this server and going from an unknown player of no real significance to an active part of this community. I have evolved both RPly in terms of gaining rank and OOCly in the connections that I have made with other players on the server and the relationships which I maintain with them. I feel as though I am more than ready to take on more responsibility within the server and become even more involved at a staff level by becoming a moderator. Throughout my time on this server, I have witnessed cases where another player needs something done and admins and moderators are too busy because they are overstretched in their duties. One of the reasons for my application is to try and ease the strain put on admins and moderators so that they themselves can have time to roleplay. Even in terms of the commands, despite it being some time since I've used them, I learn quickly and with great ease which will ensure that I can moderate to the greatest of efficiency by not having to waste time fiddling around with commands unnecessarily. In conclusion, I should be chosen over other candidates because I am a competent and capable individual who is more than ready to take on extra responsibility in the server by way of becoming a moderator. I would also just like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to apply.  [b]What are the duties of a staff member?: [/b] I believe that the role of the role of a staff member is to ensure that the rules of the server are upheld and adhered to whilst also guaranteeing that those who play on the server do so safely and have a good time when doing so. Not only does a staff member have a responsibility to hand out punishment when necessary, but they also have a responsibility, in my opinion, to make sure that situations and disputes are handled in an effective manner so as not to disturb the harmony of roleplay which takes place on the server. Staff members are to be professional and unbiased in order to ensure that when situations are judged, they are judged with the clearest of heads and with no prior relationships with any of the players involved coming into the decision made. The staff member should be totally devoted to ensuring the best roleplay environment possible with the least amount of breaks in immersion. A staff member should also remember that just because the ability to punish players is there, it does not necessarily mean that it is the best option all of the time. Staff should deal with situations with care and passion for the server and for the most peaceful resolution which is best for the many, avoiding any personal feelings either which way. A prospective member of staff must also understand the time that must be put in to being on duty and ensuring that everything on the server is running smoothly.  [b]Do you understand what a staff chain of command is?: [/b]Yes.  [u][b]Situations[/b][/u]  [b]How would you transfer someone called "John Doe" from the civilian faction to the SS-Polizei-Regiment 3 faction? You take the 2 players involved to a sit and they are arguing and not listening to you. How would you control the situation?[/b]  I would firstly split them up so as to solve the issue of them not listening to me, however I could also gag them to ensure that they do not continue speaking over me. [b]A fellow member of staff is abusing his powers by giving himself and his friends money/guns. Who do you bring this issue to and what do you do?[/b] I would bring this up with a higher ranking admin and back it up with evidence for them to deal with as they see fit.
